Our engineers have a wealth of experience between them, spanning a variety of qualifications and expertise. This diverse skill set enables us to handle a multitude of different projects with ease…
Design
By using the latest CAD packages and drawing upon our team’s combined 60+ years of specialist mechanical and electrical engineering experience in the material handling industry, Levate can offer complete mechanical and electrical design solutions to suit your unique requirements.
The design team in Shrewsbury can walk you through every aspect of your project - ensuring your available space, environment, and intended use and lifting capabilities are all accounted for.
Their experience has taught them what works, and what doesn’t, and they’re on hand to assist you in realising your vision for a crane that truly works for your operations. From the size and shape of your crane to the electrical control system design, we’ve got you covered.

Manufacture & Install
Our workshop at our Telford site is fully equipped to enable the fabrication of your standard or bespoke lifting system. Our set up ensures we can safely and efficiently manufacture cranes and lifting equipment of any size or shape, from lifting beams to full crane systems.
Control Systems
Using our expertise in design, manufacturing and commissioning, Levate can offer complete control system solutions. This can range from a simple control panel for a standard crane, to fully automated material handling systems using PLC and HMI/SCADA control. Our PLC programmers use a wide range of PLC manufactures including Siemens and Allen Bradley.

Servicing & Remedial Maintenance
In order to keep your cranes and lifting equipment in tip top condition, and ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant legislation, it’s important to have your equipment serviced every six months.
Levate offer a servicing and remedial works package which will be discussed with you during the ordering process. This service sees every aspect of your crane meticulously inspected, from its mechanical parts to its electrical components and the technology used, to ensure your crane remains in optimal health and to protect its longevity.
What’s more, additional features on our control systems such as intelligent condition monitoring enable us to accurately monitor the condition of perishable parts such as wheels and hoists etc. and predict when these are due to be replaced. This condition monitoring is viewable on the crane itself, and also remotely via a dedicated app.
We can also assist with the full servicing and remedial works of any cranes and lifting equipment not manufactured by ourselves, so do contact us to discuss if your crane is approaching its next service.
We’re proud to offer a complete breakdown and repair service spanning the whole of the UK and Ireland. Our experienced team of service engineers are on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to get you back up and running as quickly as possible should a breakdown occur - we don’t stop, so you don’t have to.
Due to the advanced technology used to build our control systems, many breakdowns can be rectified efficiently and completely remotely, considerably minimising downtime.
If our team are not able to fix the fault remotely themselves, they’re often able to work closely with your own engineers on site - working with the advanced technology to guide them towards the problem to carry out the fix.
