Intelligent Features

Increasing safety for operators, and protection for equipment can be achieved by installing features that will detect dangerous occurrences.

These features can be installed on new cranes as standard or retrofitted to all different makes and types of cranes or lifting equipment.

We have used our many years of experience in the industry and combined them with new technologies to help increase safety and productivity.

Anti Collision

To prevent overhead cranes from colliding into each other, or end stops, anti collision sensors can be installed to detect the cranes position to an object.

Laser distance sensors are used to set the acceptable distance to objects, with a high degree of accuracy. The sensors can cut out multiple speeds at different setpoints, defined on the device.

Benefits:

  • Protection of equipment; Motors, gearboxes, bearings, wheels & crane structure

  • Avoid dangerous zones where the crane is prohibited from entering

  • Safety of the operators and nearby persons is increased

Anti Side Pull

Side pulling on a wire rope hoist is a common problem in the lifting industry. Lifting a load up at an angle can cause serious dangers to operators and equipment.

By monitoring the angle of the rope these occurrences can be monitored and prevent. Acceptable limits can be adjusted on site, with warnings at user defined positions.

Benefits:

  • Protection of equipment; Motors, gearboxes, bearings, wheels & crane structure

  • Avoid dangerous zones where the crane is prohibited from entering

  • Safety of the operators and nearby persons is increased
