Intelligent Features
Installing intelligent features which are capable of detecting dangerous hazards can increase operator safety and protect your equipment.
These features can be installed on new cranes as standard, or fitted to all makes and models of cranes or lifting equipment retrospectively. Our many years of experience in the industry have enabled us to combine these intelligent features with new technologies to further enhance safety and productivity.

Anti Collision
Advanced anti-collision sensors play a crucial role in maintaining safe crane operations by accurately detecting the proximity of nearby objects or other cranes. This eliminates the risk of collisions during use, especially in facilities where multiple cranes operate in close quarters.
Laser distance sensors are calibrated with predefined safe distances, offering a high level of accuracy. These sensors can automatically reduce or cut out crane travel at multiple speeds and at different set points.
Anti Side Pull
Side pulling on a wire rope hoist is a common problem in the lifting industry. Lifting a load at an angle can pose serious risk to operators and equipment.
Anti-side pull systems monitor the rope angle to ensure these occurrences can be promptly recognised and prevented. Acceptable limits can be adjusted on site, incorporating warnings at user defined positions.
There are many key benefits of anti-collision and anti-side pull systems, including:
-
Equipment protection - Prevents damage to motors, gearboxes, bearings, wheels, and crane structures
-
Restricted zone enforcement - Automatically avoids areas where crane entry is prohibited
-
Enhanced safety - Reduces risk to operators and personnel working nearby
